General Refund Policy

Imagine that you bought a container of milk. Unfortunately, you fail to use it in a timely fashion and it spoils. You would not go back to the store to ask for another container of milk because it was your responsibility to use the milk in a timely fashion before it soured. The same principle applies to our tickets. We offer a service and if you fail to utilize the ticket, you may not reschedule. The guides have to be paid for whether or not you show up. Our tickets are non-refundable except in extreme situations.

Refunds are given on a case by case basis. Requests must be received within 30 days of the tour. Requests within 60 days may receive the offer of a replacement tour. Checks are due two weeks prior to the tour. If you cancel the tour more than one week in advance, you receive a full refund. If you cancel from one week to 48 hours in advance, you receive a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you can get a credit toward a future tour good for 90 days.

Voucher Policy

Vouchers for half-price sales or other discounts are good until the day of expiration. All sales are final. No refunds will be given. Requests for extensions of vouchers should be made to the company that issued the vouchers.

Weather Policy

Palm Beach has a shortage of walking tours. Blizzards, nor’easters, and snow may be unusual but tropical storms, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes are not. Though it’s easy to forget in the well-crafted mazes and vias of Palm Beach, we live in a coastal county, and that means rain and wind as unpredictable and dramatic as any Broadway diva. We will let you know as soon as possible if postpone or cancel a tour if the weather is too severe.

There is awnings, gazebo’s and bridges strategically placed through our tours. It’s not bad to carry an umbrella if you know it’s going to rain. BUT, we rarely have to cancel a tour during rain. We usually can wait in out which is within 5 to 15 minutes long. Click onto the Rainy Ghost picture to get to weatherbug.com for the latest weather forecast.

Tipping

Tips for your tour guide are always appreciated. If you want to increase your chances to seeing ghosts or avoid seeing them after a walk, a generous tip to your guide will work wonders in either case.
